Jeti Model "ECO" is a new line of economical brushless controllers - which are extremely simple to use - more options but less directions. All programming requirements were reduced into 4 modes by simply attaching the jumper.
Despite the simple use, the controllers maintain the high standard of quality like other Jeti Model controllers. It is very easy for you to select one of four operating modes by simply changing the location of the little jumper pin on the controller.
NiXX – Br. OFF – non active brake, power pack type NiCd or NiMH, cut off slow down to 5 Volts or 0.7 V per cell.
NiXX – Br. ON – active brake, power pack type NiCd or NiMh, cut off hard at 5 Volts or 0.7 V per cell.
LiXX – Br. OFF – non active brake, power pack type LiIon or Li-Polymer, cut off slow down. Minimum voltage 6 V for 2 cell pack, 9 V for 3 cell power pack.
LiXX – Br. ON – active brake, power pack type Li-Ion or Li-Polymer, cut off slow, minimum voltage 6 V for 2 cell pack, 9 V for 3 cell power pack.
BEC - This provides the receiver and servos with a 5 volt supply direct from the drive battery and eliminates the need for separate battery. Please note the limitations on the number of servos given in the table
PCO - The Power Cut-Off system gives a safety margin during flights. As the drive battery voltage falls with use of the motor during the flight, the PCO checks the value and cuts-out the motor at a point which leaves sufficient power to operate the receiver and servos for a reasonable further period of time. It also provides a small margin of power for emergency motor operation (e.g. in case of landing difficulties) which can be obtained by fully closing the throttle for at least 1 second before slowly re-opening it.
Timing – Jeti model uses a special system to set optimal timing for each motor. The controller is able to choose right timing independent of the number of motor poles.
TOP - Temperature Overload Protection. The Temperature Overload Protection protects the drive system by cutting out the power if the controller temperature rises to 100/110 degrees C, the controller automatically switches off the power to the motor.
